B.Sc. in Cardiovascular Technology is a 3-year degree program that deals with diagnosing and monitoring diseases related to the heart and the circulatory system which provides students with advanced knowledge and skills in the field of cardiovascular care. Students are trained to diagnose and examine heart chambers, valves and vessels with the help of cardiac ultrasound equipments and electrocardiograms, also assist on operating equipment and administration of cardiac catheterization procedures in invasive cardiac setup. Students will be given in-depth understanding and training to acquire skills for management of various cardiac disorders.

Cardiac Technologist can assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular (blood vessel) conditions. They play a crucial role during open-heart surgery or for implanting pacemakers or while monitoring patients during these procedures.
